When
you arrive you’ll be greeted and looked after by one of our hosts; given a
match-card, a name badge and a pen, then invited to have a drink at the bar.
The
host will explain how speed dating works and answer any questions you may have.
When the dating begins the women usually stay seated while the men rotate every
three minutes. After each “Speed Date” you mark on your match-card whether
you’d like to see that person again.
Including
breaks, the event may last up to three hours depending on the number of
participants.
When
the dating is over, many speed daters relax and socialise with the team and
their newfound friends.
Currently
most of our events are for the 30’s and 40’s age ranges. However, we do run
some events for older and younger age groups.
Generally
we limit the age range for any one event to a maximum of 10-12 years.
Wear
what you feel comfortable in. Many people will be coming straight from work, so
suits are fine, but don't forget:
first impressions count.
